Great game and very challenging even now along side every other version I genuinely own original copies off from C64 right through to GBA & XBOX1. The whole era at that time was the same all round just better GFX on 16bit machines. In one had people can say the C64 version is epic, now with better GFX and much the same in many ways the Amiga & ST get's a hard time lol. Sure it could of been better, but when there was nothing else it was a god send. Proper value for money, just today it's all to easy to slag off and for the wrong reasons. It was always a hard game, still is but extra randomness in the home ports catches you out even more!! At the time this was an amazing game to have at home and it did the job perfectly. The download links have been tested and are working at the time of. However I think the real problem for most people is the fact that this game is harder to play then the actual arcade machine & Megadrive versions. At the time there was nothing else and this game is partly based not only as a port of the ST version but also many similarities to the C64 version! The only real fault is that you can not go back enough as you hit an invisible brick wall in some silly places which can cause yet another death. I think people are being two faced and over harsh because today many versions exist now and even arcade perfect ones found on Sega Saturn, PSone, XBOX1 & PS2.
